you too can help me with fashion. Which of the following coats should I buy? A. (The red one. I would buy the cream but I can't keep anything clean.) I like the way the belt is lower on the hips.
B. I really like the vintage look of this one. It reminds me of Charlize Theron in Cider House Rules.
Have you tried these coats on? "A" was at Burlington coat factory last year, and I found it to be very unflattering on me. It's a great cut, but when I saw a tall, twiggy woman try it on, I saw how it was supposed look.
I think "B" would be a better choice, but I'm not in love with it.
I can see why you are having a tough time deciding. While "A" is probably more practical, I find it rather unappealing. The vintage look of "B" is nice and I actually like the plaid. However, I agree with the previous comment about "patterned coats". So, unless you are in dire need of a coat right now, I would say keep looking.
Just for an update, at work yesterday there were 3 votes for B. Everyone liked the vintage look, thought it fit my personality, and that the cut would flatter me. And that plaid doesn't really go out of style.

Although I think I like B better, I think A will be more useful. Patterned coats may backfire.

I also like the first one better.
